Our Beliefs

We Believe in

·          The inspiration, inerrancy and authority of the Bible as the written Word of God.

·          The sinfulness of all men and women and their resulting inability to seek out or please God by their own efforts.

·          The death of the unique Son of God, the Lord Jesus Christ, as an atoning sacrifice for us. We believe that there is no salvation for anyone apart from faith in him.

·          The bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ from the grave.

·          The person and work of the Holy Spirit, the third member of the divine Trinity, in drawing people to Christ, enabling them to believe on him, and strengthening them to live godly lives.

·          The importance of Christians reaching into all the world to call people to faith in Christ and helping influence their world, both near and farther away, for good.

·          The return of Jesus Christ to judge all persons and to take those who have trusted him to heaven.

Statement Of Fellowship

Fellowship is a Greek word for kononia which means community

Because we are a fellowship we do:

  • Praise and worship God together

  • Study the word of God together

  • Pray together, for each other and the body of Christ

Because we are a fellowship:

  • We care for one another and do our best to keep it that way

  • We support each other in good and in bad times

  • We love and share with our neighbors (Haiti, USA and abroad)

  • We provide education and counseling for the community

  • We treat each other with love respect and human decency

  • We do all for the glory of God and God alone

Because we are a fellowship:

  • We use our talents and all that we are to be better community leaders, citizens and friends

  • We always try our best to acknowledge each other and encourage each other to be the very best he/she can be or become

  • We will never take advantage of anyone nor make someone feel inferior, because loves does not boast and is not proud

  • We reserve the right to rebuke in love and redeemed our fellow brother/sister with love we share in Christ JESUS

  • We plan to be truthful to each other and not to violate the trust we place in each other

Because we are a fellowship:

  • We do everything to the best of our abilities

  • We support the “ministries” or “para-church” organizations of the fellowship

  • We will not burden or put a burden on anyone to do anything or participate in anything unwillingly

  • We believe serving GOD is done only by complete obedience to the word of GOD and through the guidance of the HOLY SPIRIT

  • We strongly believe only a child of GOD can be a servant and only those making public confession of His son JESUS can have fellowship with HIM like we do.

Church Convenant

Having been led, as we believe, by the Spirit of God, to receive the Lord Jesus Christ, as our Saviour; and on the profession of our faith, having been baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, we do now in the presence of God, angels and this assembly, most solemnly and joyfully enter into covenant with one another, as one body in Christ.

We engage therefore, by the aid of the Holy Spirit, to walk together in Christian Love; to strive for the advancement of this church in knowledge and holiness; to give it a place in our affections; prayers, worship. ordinances, discipline and doctrine; to contribute cheerfully and regularly, as God has prospered us, towards its expenses, for the support of the faithful and evangelical ministry among us, the relief of the poor and the spread of the Gospel throughout the world. In case of difference of opinion in the church, we will strive to avoid a contentious spirit, and if we cannot unanimously agree, we will cheerfully recognize the right of the majority to govern.

We also engage to maintain family and secret devotion; to study diligently the word of God; to religiously educate our children; to seek the salvation of our kindred and acquaintance; to walk circumspectly in world; to be kind and just to those in our employ, and faithful in the service we promise others; endeavoring in the purity of heart and good will toward all men to exemplify and commend our holy faith.

We further engage to watch over, to pray for, to exhort and stir up each other unto every good word and work; to guard each other's reputation, not needlessly exposing the infirmities of others; to participate in each other's joys, and with tender sympathy bear one another's burdens and sorrows; to cultivate Christian courtesy; to be slow to give or take offense, but always ready for reconciliation, being mindful of the rules of the Saviour in the eighteenth chapter of Matthew, to secure it without delay; and through life, amid evil report, and good report, to seek to live to the glory of God, who hath called us out of darkness into his marvelous light.

When we remove from this place, we engage as soon as possible to unite with some other church where we can carry out the spirit of this covenant and the principles of God's word.
